Regular Alterations
We are currently operating a 4 week turnaround for regular alterations. Regular alterations start at $100/hr with rush fees starting at an additional $50/hr.
Bridal Alterations
We are currently operating at a strict 12 week turnaround for bridal alterations. Bridal alterations start at $850-$1500+ with rush fees starting at an additional $425+. We currently can only accomodate Belle Atelier brides.

New COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocol
During this time we are asking that you please limit guests to 2 people including yourself, this is for the safety of our boutique staff and we want you to have the best experience.
Clients will required to undergo a contactless temperature reading
We are no longer serving food or drinks and will not allow any outside food or beverage in the shop.
All persons inside of the store must wear a mask. We are asking that you wear gloves and shoe coverings that we will provide.
If you bring a guest they will help you get in and out of your gown so that our staff is able to keep their distance for as long as possible.
All monetary transactions will be done through our online platform and we can provide wifi if you are wanting to pay while in the store.
All contractual transactions will be done through our online platform.
Fitting room floors, furniture, clamps, pins and all equipment inside of the room will be sanitized before and after each fitting.
Hangers, gowns and showroom furniture and floors will be sanitized before and after each fitting.
Guests will be asked to limit their personal items to a phone and form of payment and their garment
Guests will be asked to wash their hands before appointments begin
At this time we cannot allow any children or pets in our shop
How are you protecting your staff?Our staff is required to wear a mask, gloves, shoe covers and atelier jackets at all times
They will be required to wash their hands every 30 minutes if they cannot use gloves to perform a sewing task
They will be required to sanitize the gloves they are using with isopropyl every 30 minutes
They will be sanitizing workspaces and fitting rooms after each appointment
Only one client + 1 guest will be allowed in the shop at a time
Air purifier will be running at all times
Our staff will be required to have their temperature taken before their shift begins

Couture Alterations
Specializing in couture and high-end contemporary designs, The Dress Doctor can take any alteration to the next level. We will meticulously fit and adjust clothing to suit any figure without sacrificing the original details or integrity of the garment. We are confident working with both new and vintage styles from a wide array of classic and contemporary designers.
*We currently require 3-4 weeks for standard alterations unless otherwise noted on our announcement bar above.

Bridal Alterations
We can fulfill any bridal needs you have: from restyling your grandmother's gown in to a stunning, modern work of art, to custom designing the wedding gown of your dreams. Our expertise isn't just for the bride-to-be: we can outfit your entire wedding party - bridesmaids, flower girls, mothers of the bride and groom, and any attendants. We'll even create personalized accessories to make your day extra special: boleros, sashes, veils, shawls, wraps, headpieces, proper undergarments, "something blue" embroidery, and custom made flowers.

We love collaborating with our clients to make their design dreams a reality. Bring in your own ideas and we will guide you toward the right cut, style and fabric to suit your individual shape and preferences, then artfully tailor a beautiful, personalized fit.

Restyling
Let us help you bring the past in to the present. Breathe life in to your favorite garments by having them re-styled in to an updated, on-trend look. Gorgeous wedding gown hanging in your closet? Consider converting it in to a cocktail dress. We've even had brides create a custom christening gown for their new little family members.

Over-dying
With a bit of creativity, time and patience, we can take your existing bridal gown and over-dye it so that you can wear it again. A consultation is required for us to determine if it can or cannot be done and for price to be determined. For a fee we can have a portion of the garment dyed to see if it can become the color you are hoping for. Dying starts at $600 and will go up from there, depending on the layers and content of your garment, there is no guarantee for dying and garments will 100% shrink and wrinkle after the dying process.
Day of Wedding
One of our goals is to create a safe and supportive environment for our overwhelmed brides in The Dress Doctor showroom, and want you to feel that same sense of security on the day of your wedding.
We have partnered with Julie Sabatino of The Stylish Bride to make sure you're "dressed, styled, and down the aisle."
We will send a fitter on location to assist with dressing bridal parties and groomsmen, steaming gowns and tuxedos, tying bustles, sashes, bows and bowties, and any emergency sewing. We're happy to work behind-the-scenes by assisting with photos, attending to personal needs, or simply providing moral support on one of the biggest days of your life.

It's important to condition and properly store your most prized furs on a yearly basis to insure their longevity. Our expert furrier can restyle, repair, clean, glaze, and store your fur treasures.
